Lord, Aeck & Sargent has designed art museums, history museums, science centers, nature centers and other arts and cultural learning facilities throughout the Southeast. These centers enrich and stimulate their communities by sharing insights into their visitors' past, present and future.

Prior to architectural design, Lord, Aeck & Sargent often leads the planning effort to develop programs and budgets for exhibition content, collections management, staffing and other operational systems. By focusing on these issues in the planning phases, Lord, Aeck & Sargent is helping to ensure that the building correctly supports the expanding or new museum. We develop the programs and budgets through stakeholder workshops that give a voice to a broad network of authorities early in the project and increase support for the project.
