North Atlanta High School

In 1992, two Atlanta high schools merged to form North Atlanta High School. Lord, Aeck & Sargent provided a site comparison study, master plan, design and construction/ observation services for the new school's facilities. The facilities are the result of extensive renovations and additions to the former Northside High School campus.
The new facilities include:
- A 300-seat multiuse lecture hall
- Renovated 500-seat theater including the addition of a proscenium, new projection facility and acoustical modifications
- A converted gymnasium that now serves as a 100-seat drama and dance studio
- New dressing and equipment rooms
- A new band/choral/orchestra facility
- Expanded media center
- New kitchen and cafeteria
- Second gymnasium
- Renovated planetarium
