Old Georgia State Capitol
Milledgeville, GA
The Old State Capitol suffered a variety of tenants and their respective renovations, two fires, as well as the invasion of General Sherman during the Civil War. Nevertheless, it stood the test of time and has since become the signature architectural icon of the campus of Georgia Military College. Lord, Aeck & Sargent provided architectural services to bring back the lustre of this early nineteenth century building.
