Located on the 10th floor, the Gross Anatomy Laboratory offers vast views of the surrounding neighborhood, an unusual treat to a typical gross anatomy space. This state-of-the-art laboratory houses flexible teaching areas utilizing the latest interactive technologies available.
Each of the 27 dissection tables are connected to the internet, lessons on-line and real time and/or recorded feed from cameras at demonstration tables. In addition to technological enhancements, the demonstration tables are surrounded by raised platform for easy observation. The laboratory is designed with flexibility in mind and can be divided into smaller sections for more concentrated teaching. “Smart” podium allows for centralized control of monitors throughout the space, including raising/lowering monitors and the content displayed.
